Next to CORPORATION 5, CANARY ISLANDS INVESTMENTS, CaixaBank and the Gran Canaria Business Circle we have presented, in MARINA INNOVA HUB, a detailed study of the economy of the eastern islands. Under the title “The economy of the province of Las Palmas in graphs”, key socioeconomic aspects of Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote were revealed.
Together with our president Jose Valle, who was also in charge of welcoming the press conference, participated José Miguel González Hernández, Director of Consulting at Corporation 5; Manuel Afonso Salazar, territorial director of CaixaBank in the Canary Islands; José Carlos Francisco, president of Corporación 5; and Agustín Manrique de Lara Benítez de Lugo, president of the Gran Canaria Business Circle.
The report, presented by economist José Miguel González, addresses various indicators that directly affect the province's economy. Among them, the demographic evolution, the decrease in GDP per capita compared to previous years and the changes in the distribution of employment in different economic sectors stand out.
