Second quarter 2024
The labor cost of companies increased by 4.1% compared to the same period of the previous year and stood at 3,161.60 euros per worker and month. The salary cost grew by 4.0%. With calendar-corrected and seasonally adjusted results, the labor cost per worker increased by 3.9% in the annual rate and 1.0% in the quarterly rate. The number of vacancies was 151,379 this quarter.
The Quarterly Labor Cost Survey provides quarterly information on the average labor cost per worker per month and per effective hour of work as well as the time worked and not worked in the Canary Islands, allowing its comparison with national data and other Autonomous Communities.
