Second quarter 2024
The labor cost of companies increased by 4.1% with respect to the same period of the previous year and reached 3,161.60 euros per worker per month. Wage costs grew by 4.0%. With seasonally adjusted and calendar-adjusted results, the labor cost per worker increased by 3.9% in annual rate and by 1.0% in quarterly rate. The number of vacancies was 151,379 this quarter.
The Quarterly Labor Cost Survey provides quarterly information on the average labor cost per worker per month and per effective working hour, as well as the time worked and not worked in the Canary Islands, allowing comparison with national data and that of other Autonomous Communities.
