ISTAC publishes Purchasing Power Parities for the Canary Islands
The Canary Islands-Spain Purchasing Power Parities operation presents annual indices that allow a comparison of price levels between the Canary Islands and the rest of Spain.

Food and beverage prices were 1.02% more expensive in the Canary Islands in 2023 than in the rest of Spain. This represents an increase of 0.16 percentage points with respect to the figure for 2022 (0.86%). These data come from the Canary Islands-Spain Purchasing Power Parities (PPP) statistical operation, which was published for the first time last July, with data from 2013 to 2022.
