EU at 6.0% In May 2024, the euro area seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate was 6.4%, stable compared with April 2024 and down from 6.5% in May 2023. The EU unemployment rate was 6.0% in May 2024, also stable compared with April 2024 as well as with May 2023. These figures are published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
