More than 4,500 new Social Security affiliates in the Canary Islands in March
The Canary Islands experienced an increase in Social Security affiliation in March 2024, with a total growth of 4,559 affiliates compared to the previous month.
The total number of affiliates reached 909,391 people, of which 472,846 are men and 436,545 are women.
The most benefited sector was salaried employment, which gained 3,834 affiliates in the same period.
On the other hand, the self-employed sector experienced a slight increase of 725 affiliates.
