Provisional data June 2024
The General Business Turnover Index (BTI) adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects presented a variation of 2.3% in June with respect to the same month of the previous year. For its part, the original series experienced an annual rate of -2.7%.
The seasonally and calendar-adjusted indices showed positive annual rates of change in three of the four sectors analysed. Non-financial market services recorded the highest increase (3.8%), while the only decrease was in Electricity and water supply, sewerage and waste management (-14.2%).
Monthly evolution of the ICNE
The monthly change in the ICNE between June and May 2024, stripping out seasonal and calendar effects, was 0.4%. This rate was 2.1 percentage points higher than in the previous month.
